Case Study
Selixer
A profit-intelligence platform for e-commerce brands that reveals true margin after ad spend, COGS, and returns, then gives merchants the marketing tools to grow it. The platform now processes over 50,000 orders per month across connected Shopify stores.
The Challenge
Most Shopify merchants run their business on a number that lies to them: topline revenue. A store can show $124,000 in sales and still lose money once you subtract cost of goods, ad spend, shipping, payment fees, and returns. The tools merchants had showed gross revenue and vanity metrics, but not the one figure that decides whether the business survives: true contribution margin. Owners were flying blind, scaling ad spend on products that quietly lost money on every order.
The Solution
I designed and built Selixer as a full-stack SaaS platform that connects directly to a merchant's Shopify store, Meta Ads, and Google Ads through OAuth. It pulls in orders, product costs, and advertising data, then calculates real profit after every cost is accounted for, refreshing continuously so the number is always current. On top of the analytics core sits a layer of AI insights that explain what is happening, prescribe what to do about it, and simulate the outcome before the merchant commits. Beyond reporting, the platform includes WhatsApp and email marketing automation to recover carts and drive repeat orders, plus an AI Image Studio that generates marketing visuals from product photos.
