Cloud Hosting & DevOps
Infrastructure that stays up, deploys itself, and does not wake you at 3 a.m.
Hosting is invisible when it works and catastrophic when it does not. Most teams either overspend on infrastructure they do not understand or run on something fragile that falls over at the worst possible time, usually during their biggest day.
I set up cloud infrastructure that is right-sized for where you actually are: automated deployments so shipping is a non-event, containers so it runs the same everywhere, monitoring so you hear about problems before your customers do, and costs that make sense. No cargo-cult Kubernetes for a five-user app, just the right tool for your stage.
Is this you?
You Might Need This If.
- 01Deploys are manual, scary, or something only one person knows how to do.
- 02Your app goes down under traffic spikes and you are not sure why.
- 03Your cloud bill keeps climbing and nobody can fully explain it.
- 04You are launching and want production infrastructure set up correctly from the start.
What you get
What's Included.
Production infrastructure
Set up on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, right-sized for your stage, with room to scale when you need it.
CI/CD pipelines
Automated build, test, and deploy so shipping is one push, not a checklist and a held breath.
Containerized environments
Docker (and Kubernetes when it genuinely helps) so your app runs identically in dev, staging, and production.
Monitoring & alerts
Uptime, performance, and error alerting so you find out about issues first, not from an angry customer.
Backups & recovery
Automated backups and a tested recovery plan, because 'we did not have backups' is a sentence no one should ever say.
Cost review
A clear look at what you are spending and where to trim without risking stability.
How I work
The Process.
- 01
Audit what's running
I map your current setup, or your requirements if you are starting fresh, and flag the real risks and cost leaks.
- 02
Design the environment
I choose infrastructure matched to your traffic and team, favoring simple and reliable over impressive and fragile.
- 03
Automate the pipeline
I wire up CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure-as-code so the whole thing is repeatable and documented.
- 04
Monitor & hand over
Alerts, dashboards, and a runbook so your team can operate it confidently, with me on call for the tricky bits.
The point of it all
What You Walk Away With.
- Deployments that are boring, fast, and safe to do any day of the week.
- An app that scales with traffic instead of falling over at the peak.
- Early warning on problems, so small issues do not become outages.
- A cloud bill you understand and control.
FAQ
Questions Answered.
Do I really need Kubernetes?
Usually not, and I say so. Most applications run happily on simpler, cheaper setups. Kubernetes earns its complexity at real scale or with specific needs. I match the infrastructure to your stage, not to a resume.
Can you reduce my cloud costs?
Often, yes. I review what you are running, find over-provisioned resources and waste, and right-size things without trading away the reliability you are paying for in the first place. You get a clear before-and-after.
Which cloud provider should I use?
AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure can all do the job well. The right choice usually comes down to what your team already knows, your specific service needs, and pricing for your workload. I give you a straight recommendation.
